It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Carol Ann Marsh, beloved mother, devoted grandmother, and cherished friend. Carol departed from this world on Saturday March 23, 2024, peacefully under the incredible care of Hospice of Lenawee

Born Carol Ann Waldrup on September 5, 1960, in Ypsilanti, MI, she was the daughter of Gene Waldrup and the late Pauline Jones. Carol lived the majority of her life in Tecumseh, MI, where she became an accountant dedicating herself to multiple companies including Comshare. She shared her skills across multiple states and even venturing to lend her skills in London. 

Beyond her career, Carol was a woman of many passions. She found joy and solace in crafting, with a particular fondness for quilting, scrapbooking, and crocheting. Her creative spirit shines brightly in every project.

Carol's compassionate nature extended beyond her crafting table to many of things, one of which was, her love for animals. An ardent supporter of the Humane Society and advocate for the proper treatment of animals, she found fulfillment in caring for and advocating on behalf of those who couldn't speak for themselves.

Carol's greatest joy, however, came from spending time with her family. She is survived by her loving father Gene Waldrup of Mississippi. Carol's memory will forever live on through her children: Paula Fore (Hendricks) of Britton, MI, married to Kyle Fore; Lindsay Valdes (Marsh) of Tipton, MI; Dustin Marsh of Tecumseh, MI; and Cassondra Marsh of Ida, MI, engaged to Jesse Miniard. Her grandchildren were her greatest joy in life. Her heart grew in size with the birth of each one: Austin, Addison (Paula), Zoie, Izabel, Renee, Alex (Dustin), Chase (Lindsay) and Jamie (Cassondra).

In the embrace of her family, Carol found strength and solace. She was preceded in death by her mother Pauline Jones (1998), her son Christopher Hendricks (1998), and her ex-husbands, Lee Marsh (2012) and Carl Hendricks (2024).

Carol Ann Marsh will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. Her warmth, compassion, and unwavering love will continue to inspire and guide those whose lives she touched.

By Carol’s request, there will be a celebration of life gathering later this year to give family and loved ones the ability to gather together.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Lenawee Humane Society or Hospice of Lenawee in Carol's honor.

Though she may no longer walk among us, Carol's spirit will forever remain in our hearts, a beacon of love and light that will never fade. May she rest in eternal peace.
