Anthony (Tony) Roy Purtell
November 11, 1961-March 3, 2023
Tony was born in Wauseon, Ohio to Ronald Purtell and Rose Brun. He was fluent in both the English and French languages. He had numerous jobs throughout his life but working at Harold Fall & Sons Farm and Greenhouse, along with his mom and dad, was his main place of employment. Tony and his mom would sell pumpkins and mums for the Halloween season every year on the corner of Airport and Holloway at his dad, Jim’s plaza.
Tony is preceded in death by his sister, Sandra J. Nelson, his mother, Rose Fall, and birthfather, Ronald Purtell, and his baby girl, Nicole Antoinette Wolf. Tony is survived by his son, Benjamin Anthony Wolf-Purtell, his father, Jim Fall, brother, John (Nancy) L. Purtell, sister, Jennifer (Willie) Lonsway, brother, Nicholas Fall, various nieces and nephews, Johnny Nelson, Tiffany (Darrell) Schaff, Elizabeth Purtell, C.J., Conner, Cierra Howe, and Ryan Lonsway. He also had various great nieces and nephews as well.
Tony’s life will be celebrated at a gathering on March 19, 2023, at The Toledo Sailing Club from 1pm-5pm. 2701 Broadway Street Toledo, OH 43609.
