Edwardo "Eddy" Torres II Obituary

Edwardo “Eddy”Torres II, age 48, passed away from injuries sustained in an accident on February 16, 2021 while clearing snow at his home.Though his life was cut short, he always made the most of every situation with his charismatic charm and zest for life. He was a hard working man who drove semi truck for a living, his current employer was Old Dominion in Toledo, OH.Family was of the utmost importance to Eddy.He was happiest when surrounded by his children and grandchildren. He also had a strong love for fishing, and riding motorcycles. He loved the feeling of wind on his face and the freedom that comes from riding. Many wonderful friendships were made within the biking community.

Born in Toledo, OH on July 15, 1972, Eddy was raised by his Mother, Linda King of Perrysburg, OH and Stepfather, Gerald Anteau of Maumee, OH.  He graduated from Rossford High School, Rossford OH. He also served on the Washington Township Fire Department as a Volunteer Fireman. This was a great source of pride as he enjoyed helping and making a difference in others lives.

      Eddy is survived by his Mother, Linda King of Perrysburg, OH. Stepfather Gerald (Diane) Anteau of Maumee, OH, Ex-Wife Kelly Lambert, of Toledo, OH. Children, Kyle (Bri) Torres of Toledo, OH. KC Patterson of Toledo, OH, Selena “Tori” Madden of Bowling Green, OH, Marcus Torres and Matthew Torres of Toledo, OH and Jenna Lambert and Olivia Garn of Toledo OH.  Grandchildren Arianna Madden, Draven Madden, Alaina Patterson, Riot Torres, Aubreigh Torres, Branson Kerr , Karleigh Rollins. and a grandson on the way, Holden Matteo Edwardo Torres. Brothers Michael (Lindsay) Torres of Perrysburg, OH and Eddie Lee (Dawn) Torres of Toledo, OH. Several Nieces and Nephews also. Eddy was preceded in death by his younger sister Melissa Torres in childhood.

 

We would like to thank everyone who has reached out during this difficult time. All the prayers and kind words mean so much. A special thank you to good friend, Shane Keller of Shane’s Towing for assisting at the scene. Memorials made be made to the family or to an Autism Awareness charity. Cremation has taken place. The family is planning a Celebration of Life in the Spring\Summer this year.
