Ereck Wheeler
Obituary
On Thursday, February 23, Ereck B. Wheeler, a beloved friend, passed away. He was fifty-four. Ereck graduated from the University of Michigan with a Master of Social Work and went on to become a social worker at Toledo Hospital. His beloved partner, Mike Bartell, passed away October of 2021. Together they shared a beautiful life, with many dogs and countless camping trips.
Ereck loved to serve his community and take care of his 2 fur babies, Murry and Beau. Ereck was an excellent cook, he had gone to culinary school earlier in his life and continued to share that joy by baking brownies and pies for his friends. Ereck enjoyed the game, Cards Against Humanity and his favorite movie was the Greatest Showman. He was a creative and thoughtful man who always saw the best in people even though he endured many hardships throughout his life. American Cremation Events assisted with arrangements and his ashes to be spread up in the UP where he and his partner Mike enjoyed taking their RV up to camp often. May Ereck Rest in Peace and be remembered by those that knew and loved him.
