Eugene A. Cutcher “Butch” “Gene”
Eugene “Butch” Cutcher age 78 of Point Place, Toledo passed away peacefully into the arms of Jesus on November 15, 2022, at Hospice of NW Ohio, with his loving family by his side. He was born on September 13, 1944, to Eugene and Ann (Georgoff) Cutcher who preceded him in death.
Butch was a gentle soul who loved being around his family and friends. He had a passion for sports, especially the Michigan Wolverines, and was looking forward to the Michigan OSU game. In his earlier years he spent many hours drag racing at Milan Speedway. He was a veteran who served in the Air Force during the Vietnam War. He retired from BP Refinery after many years due to disability.
Butch is survived by his son Vincent Cutcher, his daughter Marlene Lerch, son Eugene “Tony” Cutcher and his wife Sarah, eight grandchildren: Jeremiah, Audrey and Eric Lerch, Savannah Hill (Alex), Madyson Cutcher, Aniyah Corbin, Abby Cutcher and Mackenzie Kitchen, great grandchildren, Amelia and Amara Hill. Brothers: Robert (Kathy) Cutcher, Donald (Clara)Cutcher, Thomas Cutcher, David Cutcher, Jim Cutcher, and Richard Cutcher. Sisters: Patty (Doug) Burns, Barbara Cutcher, Michelle (Rick) Hakius ), and Joanne Cutcher. He was preceded in death by brothers John Cutcher, Ed (Bette) Cutcher, and Michael (Lynn) Cutcher.
A special thank you to Linda and John Trease and Jamey Leach, his neighbors who were a constant presence whenever he needed them.
A memorial celebration of life will be held at Vision Church, 7410 Noward Rd, Waterville, OH 43566 on Saturday, December 10, 2022, from 12:00 to 4:00 PM
