John W Peek I

John W Peek I passed away May 15, 2023, at Advance 360 Nursing Home. He is survived by his loving wife Ocie of 45 years, sons John II, Jason I, daughter Chassity (Dean) Cain, and 9 grandchildren. Also surviving are many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Joshua, parents Violet Fitzpatrick, John R Peek, and stepparents Robert Fitzpatrick and Deloris Peek. Also preceded in death by his sister Leona, half-sister Tammy, stepbrothers Alan and John.

John worked for The City of Toledo in Forestry and Parks Dept. In his younger years he drove a snowplow for the city in the Blizzard of 1978. John loved bowling and worked at various Bowling Allys as a bowling machine mechanic. He also operated a Diner near his home. He loved going to yard sales, garage sales, and locker auctions looking for antiques and collectables. He also loved to fish whenever he had the time. He was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. Family, friends, and neighbors will miss John. He was particularly good at making people laugh.

There was no visitation. A celebration of life for John will be later.
