Pauline Marie (Henninger) Adams

Pauline Marie Adams, age 73, of Walbridge/Northwood, passed away peacefully on October 31, 2023, at Genoa Retirement Village, after a long battle with ovarian cancer. She was born in Toledo, OH, on November 25, 1949, to Clarence Jacob "Spike" and Margaret Catherine (Romstadt) Henninger. She is a 1967 graduate of Cardinal Stritch High School and attended Warner College of Beauty for Cosmetology. On May 30, 1969, she married Alvin A Adams III. Al and Pauline raised two boys and celebrated 52 years of marriage until his death in 2022.

Pauline began her career at Ra-Ev Beauty Shop in Oregon, OH, as a beautician. Along with cutting hair, she worked as East Center Mental Health, Merce Industries and Industrial Design as a secretary. In 1990, Al and Pauline started Adams Screen Printing and Embroidery in the basement of their home before moving the business to Millbury. In addition to running the family business, Pauline drove school bus for Lake Local Schools from 1995 until earlier this year. She also enjoyed sewing, reading, gardening, garage sales and going to the casino.

Pauline is survived by her sons: Al (Kelly) Adams IV of Luckey, Joshua (Lori) Adams of Northwood; grandchildren: Quin, Jason, Bridgette, Julia, Molly, Ayala and Roelino; great-grandchild, Kash; best friend: Claudette (Roger) Martin. Pauline was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Donald C Henninger.
