Randy P. Denton
May 30, 1954 – October 17, 2022
Randy passed away peacefully at home after a 12-year battle with Alzheimer’s and Dementia surrounded by his loving family. Born in Phoenix and raised throughout Arizona, he graduated from Canyon Del Oro H.S. in Tucson, AZ. He moved to Las Vegas where he played a big role in building the city as a concrete pump operator. This is where he met the love of his life, Kerri Lee.
Randy was a family man and is survived by his wife, Kerri Lee and their daughter Vanessa Lynn, along with his other children Chad Michael, Pamela (Mark) with grandchildren Sierra, Dakota, Damian and Dominic and great granddaughter Ellaina; Edward (Cierra) and granddaughter Loralie; Valerie (Dylan) and grandchildren JT (Jeffrey Todd) and Allysa; Randy II (Joyce) and grandchildren Macon and Gabriella; and stepdaughter Jacilyn Marie and grandson, Jesse, that Randy helped to raise. A sister, Vicky Denton, along with In-Laws and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother Dorothy Harris, father Robert Denton and brother Gary Denton.
He loved and was loved by his family unconditionally and lived his life to the fullest. He especially enjoyed chasing his grandkids for whisker attacks, snowball fights, and was a prankster at heart. He enjoyed sketching, singing and humming, playing music, and working with leather in his younger years. He loved being surrounded by family and his grandkids brought much joy throughout his life. He is loved dearly and will be missed tremendously.
