Raymond E. Frater, age 76, died May 15, 2023, after a long illness. He is preceded in death by his parents Earl & Irene Frater, his brother Robert Frater, his sister-in-law Diane Frater, his sister-in-law Lisa Frater, all of Dunkirk, Ohio. His stepson Dana Barrett of Fruitland Park, IL. His is survived by his wife Ruth of Toledo, Ohio. His son Marty & wife Melissa of Arlington, Ohio, his son Christopher & wife Nicky of Lima, Ohio, his sister-in-law Barbara Frater of Dunkirk, Ohio, his step-daughter Deanna & husband Derrick Fountain of Fruitland Park, IL & two grandchildren Andrew Moneer of Wapakoneta, Ohio and Brandon Frater of Bowling Green, Ohio, two step-grandchildren Joe Knight of Milford, Michigan and Leighann Knight of Beech Grove, Indian, three step-grandchildren Alyssa, Liam, & Caroline Malicote of Beech Grove, Indiana, three brothers Thomas Frater & wife Aleta Frater of Bowling Green, Ohio, Dwight Frater of Dola, Ohio, & Keith Frater of Wharton, Ohio and sisters-in-law Nina Rhoades of Kenton, Ohio, and Sadie (Ken) Patrick of Micanopy, FL.

Ray was a veteran of U.S. Air Force & a retired railroad worker of 41 years. He was an avid Ohio State fan and loved fishing.
