Shannon Lynn Holden

Shannon “Shay” Lynn Holden, was called home to be at peace with the Lord on Sunday, June 13, 2021, at the age of 36. Shannon was born on Sunday, September 16, 1984, daughter to David Holden & Linda Marshall, in Toledo OH. She is survived by an abundance of loving family members, including but not limited to her, son James, Mother- Linda (Rick) Marshall & Father- David (Kim) Holden, Grandma Wonnie, as well as her siblings- Donny Hamblin, Heather Holden, Christopher (Sarah) Marshall, David (Frank) Rice, Ashley Marshall & Kaylee Holden (Ryan). Nieces and Nephews- Taylor, Sierra, Cameron, Donny Jr, Saylor, Rilee, Neveah, Autumn, Mya, Spencer, Jordan Draya, Joshua, Carter, Averi & Greyson. Shannon was an amazingly strong, resilient & independent woman, which many looked up to for her strength throughout her life. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin, friend & most importantly mother to her son, James. He was the absolute love of her life, her reason for living each day to the fullest and to strive for the best possible life she could provide. If there was one thing in this world she would want to be remembered for, it would be celebrating her greatest achievement in life, her son & best friend, James. He brought so much joy to her life, and he was the center of her strength each day. Shannon was beautiful inside & out. No matter who you were or what you were going through, she was right there for you. Whether it was just sitting there with a listening ear, shoulder to cry on or a hug for comfort, if you called her, she was there. She was so much fun to be around, always providing a laugh with her infectious smile & personality. Shannon was someone who you felt comfortable confiding in & trusting your feelings with. She meant the world to so many people and although, her family and loved ones are left to grieve and try to find some understanding, Shannon is finally at peace and looking down on everyone she loved as their angel up in heaven. She truly knows just how much she is loved. Preceding her in death is her Grandma Beulah & Grandpa Dave, along with numerous Aunts & Uncles. Celebration of life will be scheduled for a later date, determined by family.
