Vickie Sue (Taylor) Irving

Vickie Sue Irving, age 67, of Flint passed away October 28, 2021 at the home of her son in Tecumseh where she was under the care of hospice.

Vickie was born on August 14, 1954 in Flint where she lived until 1995, when she moved to Midland where she stayed until 2019.  She had three sons with her first husband and a fourth son with her second husband. Vickie would have done anything for her family and friends.  She was an avid pool player and enjoyed her many years of dominating leagues and tournaments hosted by the VFW and Eagles.  She also enjoyed many years of playing competitive softball, bowling, and golf.  She loved to travel and was an ardent reader.

Vickie is survived by her four sons and two daughters-in-law; Jeffery and Shantell Thompson, Eric Thompson, Martin and Stephanie Thompson, and Travis Irving along with 5 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild and many friends.  She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Irving.

Per Vickie’s request there will be no viewing service.  She will be cremated and her ashes interned in the same grave of her late husband and the love of her life.  Family and Friends are welcome at the graveside service at 1100 on Friday November 5th at Hill Crest Memorial Gardens in Owosso.
